Technopack Introduces 3 New Auger Fillers
Miami, FL February 4, 2010: Technopack Corporation has introduced three new models of auger fillers to its offer. The models are the FLG-20A, the FLG-500A and the FLG-2000A. All three models are already available for purchase on technopack’s website.
These models cover a range between 1 to 2000 ml. The FLG-20A fills up to 20 ml with an approximate speed of 50 pieces per minute (pcs/min). The FLG-500A fills from 50 to 500 ml with an approximate speed of 40 pcs/min. The higher range of filling is achieved by the FLG-2000A, which fills from 20 to 2000 ml, filling about 30 pcs/min.
JORESTECH auger fillers use a PLC-controlled Servomotor to rotate a screw which forces product down to the bottom of the container. Fills of high accuracy are attained by electronically adjusting the number of revolutions the auger spins. A separate PLC-controlled motor drives a heavy duty agitation system that breaks apart clumps and forces the product into the path of the rotating screw.
All three models are suitable to fill dry powder and denser granular products such as sugar, ground coffee, seeds, spices, fertilizers, flours, to mention some.
